TERMS AND CONDITIONS – SUGGESTED DAY TOURS
When reserving a suggested tour with Beautiful Liguria you agree to these terms & conditions without exception.
Product Description & Pricing
Beautiful Liguria offers a variety of tours/itineraries and activities (nature itineraries, Wine&Food itineraries, culture tours, cooking class, walking tours, wine tasting and much more) pre-planned and constantly updated and designed by our local collaborators and partners.
Beautiful Liguria guarantees always a high level of quality, professionalism taking you away from cold and impersonal tours. Our tours, activities and itineraries provided by our collaborators include everything is noted in the tour, itinerary, activity programme. Any other extra service which is not included in the pre-planned tour can be required and is subject to additional expenses.
Not included are the following items: airfare to/from Italy, travel insurance, baggage handling, meals other than as specified in your itinerary, gratuities, ground transport services and any other personal/optional and incidental expenses.
Booking and Payments
To choose Beautiful Liguria suggested tours/itineraries/activities contact us via e-mail at beautiful.liguria@gmail.com or click on the CONTACT button located in each suggested tour schedule. We highly recommend to reserve at least 3 months before your date of arrival. Within 48 hours from your request, Beautiful Liguria will communicate you the suggested tour availability for the requested dates. Once you have confirmed your participation to the tour, it is required full payment upfront to our collaborators.
Payments accepted are for the moment (Wire Transfer, Check or Pay Pal).
We will send you, 30 days before your departure date, a reminder with the suggested tour details.
Cancellation/Refund Policy
Cancellations are subject to the following fees without exception:
-More than 60 days prior to the arrival date: 100% refundable minus banking fees
-between 60 to 30 days prior to the departure date: 80 % refund minus any banking fees
-30 days or less prior the departure date: no refund
Limits and Liability
By acceptance of a Suggested tour, the client agrees that Beautiful Liguria and its collaborators assumes no liability for any loss, injury or damage to a person or property, or otherwise any connection with any accommodations, transportation, or other service, resulting directly or indirectly from any acts of co-travelers, suppliers, nature, or dangers, delays, cancellations, and incidents related to the sea or weather conditions, health related problems before, after, or during the tour, fire, breakdown in machinery or equipment, acts of government or other authorities, de jure or de facto, wars, whether declared or not, hostilities, civil disturbances, terrorist attacks, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferage, epidemics, quarantines, medical or custom regulations, defaults, delays or cancellations or changes in itinerary or schedules, or from any causes beyond the control of Beautiful Liguria or for loss or damage resulting from insufficient, or improperly issued passports, visas or other documents, and that Beautiful Liguria assumes no liability sustained or incurred by a Suggested tour member as a result of any foreign causes and is not liable for defaults or breach of contract of those persons, suppliers, or companies not directly under the control of Beautiful Liguria.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS – PERSONALIZED DAY TOURS/ITINERARY/ACTIVITY
When reserving a personalized tour with Beautiful Liguria you agree to these terms & conditions without exception.
Product Description and Pricing
Beautiful Liguria offers the possibility to customize a personalized tour arranged by Beautiful Liguria’s collaborators and partners. Beautiful Liguria guarantees always a high level of quality and professionalism.
Beautiful Liguria Personalized Tours include only those items listed on your trip itinerary/proposal and may vary significantly based on request.
Approximately, one month before your departure date, you will receive your daily itinerary/ tour/activity with all the details.
Not Included are the following items: airfare to/from Italy; travel insurance; baggage handling; meals other than as specified in your tour itinerary; gratuities and any other personal/optional and incidental expenses.
If you would make revisions or modifications to an itinerary/tour or activity, we ask that you provide us with your specific/ revisions and we will make best efforts to accommodate it and your budget.
1. You can request a Personalized Tour, completing the CONTACT FORM or sending an e-mail to beautiful.liguria@gmail.com . We highly recommend to request the Personalized Tour at least 3 months before your date of arrival. About 48 hours from your request, Beautiful Liguria will communicate you a first proposal and discuss any revisions or modifications.
2. Once the trip/itinerary or activity proposal has been approved you cannot make any other changes and 50% of the total cost of your personalized tour is due.
3. The balance of your personalized tour is due no later than 60 days prior to your departure date. We will send you a reminder about one week before the departure date with the details of your day tour/itinerary/activity.
Payments are accepted in euro by check, wire transfer or by Pay Pal. Please Note a 3% discount will be applied for payments made by check or wire transfer. In the event a refund is provided, currency conversion costs and expenses associated with exchange rate fluctuations will be subtracted from such refund.
Service Change
Changes can be made until final approval. Amendments made after the final approval are subject to additional cost per person and to availability for the requested period.
Cancellation/Refund Policy

- between 60 to 30 days prior to the departure date: 80 % refund minus any banking fees
- 30 days or less prior the departure date: no refund

TERMS AND CONDITIONS – RENTALS
Rental Agreement
It is understood that Beautiful Liguria provides booking services to the owner/ property. The customer, by booking the property on Beautiful Liguria website or signing the Booking Form, agrees to abide by the following Rental Agreement:
Properties
Welcome in Beautiful Liguria’s rental section. The descriptions of the properties on Beautiful Liguria website are made very carefully and in good faith. We personally visit them to ensure always a high quality, service and comfort for your ligurian experience.
Rental period
Rentals start at 4 p.m. on the first day and end at 10 a.m. on the last day of the holiday. Guests are asked to arrive between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m., and to leave before 10 a.m. in order to allow the property to be prepared for the next guests.
If no one has vacated the Property the morning you arrive, you may check in as early as you like. Please contact us closer to your arrival to determine whether someone is leaving that morning.
If your flight or train is later in the day and other guests are arriving immediately after you, we will check you out by 10am, arrange for you to leave your luggage, and have you come back while the cleaner is still cleaning. If no one is arriving the day you leave, we will be glad to arrange your check out accordingly, but when necessary, the maid may need to arrive as early as 10am to clean.
Number of persons
The number of guests that can be accommodated in each property is indicated in each description and further clarified in the text description. This number may not be exceeded in any circumstances except by prior consent of the owner, either directly or through Beautiful Liguria staff.
Payment
Upon confirmation of availability we will require a deposit of 40% of the holiday cost and a completed booking form. You may pay by check, wire transfer, Master Card, Visa or Pay Pal. A 3% banking fee applies to payments by credit card and 3.5% for payments by Pay Pal.
No rental is confirmed until you accept the RA and terms and conditions, and your credit card is charged (or you fax/scan us a copy of a check or wire payment for the appropriate rental fee, which such payment is then promptly sent to BL).
The balance is due no later than 90 days prior to your arrival date. Late payment can result in penalty fees and/or cancellation of the rental agreement without refund.
Security Deposit
The security deposit is usually paid in cash to the owner of the property upon check in unless otherwise stated in the property description or another agreement has been made between Beautiful Liguria, the owner and the client. THE OWNER OR HIS/HER REPRESENTATIVE MAY REFUSE ACCESS TO THE PROPERTY IF THE DEPOSIT IS NOT PAID. If damages exceed the amount of the cash deposit, renter is liable for the full cost of the damages and agrees to pay the full amount. The security deposit is returned before leaving the apartment less any damage to the home, additional expenses for the house and lost keys.
Prices
Prices are given in Euro and are converted in $USD. Prices are based on market conditions. Beautiful Liguria therefore reserves the right to modify prices in the case of considerable fluctuation of the rate of exchange.
Property Inspection
On arrival guests should inspect the property with the owner and ensure that they understand the use of any appliances, equipment and utilities. Please read House Notes carefully before using appliances as frequently Italian appliances are different from those you may be used to at home. Washing machines and dishwashers have a timed safety catch on doors, for instance, which, if forced, may break the door.
Tidiness and Cleanliness
Properties will be assigned clean and in good order and should be left upon departure in the same condition. The final cleaning fee, if applicable, and as specified per property, will be subtracted from the security deposit. If the property is not left in the same general condition in which it was found, the property owner may withhold an additional charge from the security deposit to cover the cost for any time over the standard cleaning duration.
Alterations and Cancellations by client
In the event of cancellation, substantial amendments to bookings, such as a change of dates or properties, of a booking, must be conveyed in writing and are subject to penalty charges as follow: amendments requested more than 90 days before the first day of the rental period are subject to full amount of the deposit + any banking fees incurred.
Notices of cancellation or of substantial amendments received within: 89-61 days prior to arrival date: 50% of total amount + any banking fees incurred
59-31 days prior to arrival date: 75% of total amount + any banking fees incurred
100% of the rental price if the cancellation is made between 30 days or less prior to arrival date: + any banking fees incurred.
Please note that any change in rental dates becomes a new rental arrangement.
Alterations and Cancellations by Beautiful Liguria
If Beautiful Liguria should, for any reason beyond their control, including force majeure, be unable to provide the customer with the property he/she has booked, the company reserves the right to transfer the customer, upon agreement, to a similar property. If the price of the substituted property is less, the difference will be reimbursed to the customer. If the price of the substituted property is higher, the difference will be charged to the customer. If, however, no agreement can be reached, both contractual parties are authorized to cancel the contract. Beautiful Lguria will refund to the customer all monies paid. We will not be liable for any further obligations or claims by you.
Swimming Pools
Private swimming pools are not heated and most are open from mid May until mid September, depending upon the weather and the owner’s discretion. Some public pools are open only for June, July and August. Use of the Swimming Pool is strictly at the clients’ own risk and children must be supervised at all times.
Breakdowns of Equipment
In the event of breakdown of mechanical equipment such as pumps, boilers, swimming pool equipment etc, please contact the property owner and inform him of the problem. Should the property owner be unable to be contacted, then you should contact Beautiful Liguria representative to inform us of the problem. We shall try to get the fault corrected as soon as possible, but you are asked to bear in mind that it may take some time particularly if it occurs on a Sunday or public holiday. Whilst we will endeavor to assist if the property owner is not available, Beautiful Liguria cannot be held responsible for such breakdowns as it acts only as agent for the property owner.
Force Majeure
The property owner can accept no liability whatsoever in respect of any alteration, delay or cancellation or any other loss or damage of any kind caused by wars, revolutions, terrorist activities, riots, civil commotions, strikes, lockouts, industrial disputes, natural disaster, fire, floods, storms, failure of public utilities, mechanical breakdown, acts of any Government or Public Authority, changes imposed by rescheduling or cancellation of ferries, railways, airlines which are beyond its control or any other circumstances or events amounting to ‘Force Majeure’ and/or acts of God.
Complaints
The property owners ensure that their property is in a reasonable condition at the beginning of the season and that they will take all reasonable care to maintain them in such condition throughout the season. If there are any problems, it is the client’s responsibility to notify the owner of the property promptly so that he/she can take the action required. If the problem is not or cannot be resolved satisfactorily within a reasonable time, the client should contact Beautiful Liguria and ensure that they can be reached while the problem is being handled.
The owners must have an opportunity to put right any issues as soon as they arise. Should the owner not be available, please contact our representatives and they will endeavour to contact the owner.
In the event you are dissatisfied you must in the first instance contact the owner of the property. If, after doing so, you still feel that the problem has not been resolved to your satisfaction, then you must contact Beautiful Liguria. Vacating the property without speaking directly to the property owner or a beautiful Liguria staff member will void the client’s right to claim compensation or refund for costs or rental charges. Beautiful Liguria will not offer a remedy for any issue, problem or complaint raised after the rental period.
Pets
If you are planning to travel with your pet, the selection of apartments will be limited. If you are planning to bring a pet with you, please let us know when reserving the apartment.
Phone
If the property comes with a land line, all telephone line charges (phone, fax or internet) will be your responsibility. Long distance charges must be put on a credit card, calling card, phone card or similar billing method. Direct-dialing long distance calls from the house will result in our holding your Security Deposit for up to 8 weeks.
Liability
Given that Beautiful Liguria acts only as agents for the property owners, we can accept no liability whatsoever for any death, personal injury, loss or damage of any kind, unless caused by our own negligence. Insofar as we have any liability to you, then proceedings in respect of any such liability shall be governed by Italian law and the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Italian courts. Acceptance of Booking Conditions and choice of law and Jurisdiction
By signing the booking form and confirming the booking, the customer implies that Beautiful Liguria’s Rental Conditions have been understood and have thereby been accepted without reserve and without exception. accepts no responsibility for any unauthorized actions or omissions on the part of the property owner.
