Tasting and Touring in Final Borgo

Just a few steps away from the sea and from Savona, you’ll discover the medieval village of Final Borgo. Today this old village belongs to the “Most Beautiful Villages in Italy” Club, “I Borghi più belli d’Italia”.

This magnificient village is surrounded by well-preserved medieval walls with intervals created by semi-circular towers and interrupted only in correspondence to the doors. The visit continue to a family oil mill located in the area. Liguria has a very long history in the cultivation of olives and the area has a very special variety: the “taggiasca” olive, from whcih high quality oil is produced and renowned throughout the world. The owners and producers will explain you the process from harvest to pressing together with tasting their authentic and genuine products.
